WTO Studies School of Wuhan University, Hubei Province, runs joint undergraduate or pre-master educational programs with overseas universities. These popular programs include universities in France, the USA, the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. The majors currently being studied are in the fields of Finance, Economics and Business. Students study for two years here in China and then go abroad for a further two years, to finish their chosen degree program. The first groups of students have already graduated and all speak highly of this wonderful opportunity.

Regarding the faculty of the school, we presently employ 30 long-term foreign teachers (this number can vary with student intake), and many short-term professors from western universities who deliver professional courses every year.

Teacher Requirements:
1. Native speaker of English from USA, UK, Australia or New Zealand.
2. Teaching experience (At least 12 months experience).
3. 25-55 years old.
4. Preference is given to those holding a B.A. or higher.
5. Preference is given to those holding a TESOL certificate or similar.
6. Preference is given to those who have knowledge of IELTS, and the delivery of IELTS Speaking Courses.

We provide:
1. A monthly salary of 5000 RMB, less tax (presently 10 RMB per month)
2. Second year work contract, the salary increases to 6000 RMB per month (less tax).
3. International airfare ticket refund to the value of 9000 RMB for a 1 year contract.
4. Laptop computer.
5. A rent free, air conditioned, one bedroom, partly furnished apartment is supplied by WTOSS, however utilities such as water, gas and electricity are paid for by the teacher.
6. Partly furnished means bed, wardrobe, lounge, desk, chairs, microwave oven, refrigerator, washing machine and clothes drying stand. New bed linen, bathroom and Kitchenware packs can be arranged for new teachers prior to arrival.

The School:
1. Small class sizes; usually only 16 to 20 students per class.
2. No more than 16 class hours of work a week.
3. Air conditioned classrooms with computer / multimedia and large white boards with 3 color markers.
4. Modern building.
5. Friendly, professional bi and tri lingual support staff.
6. A staffed printing room to assist with all photocopying (3 machines)
7. Teachers’ lounge with coffee / tea and Internet facilities.
8. Close to small shops, mini markets, banks and restaurants.
9. Free shuttle bus service from teachers’ apartments to the school; a 15 to 20 minute journey one way depending on traffic.
