Fabulous Elementary School in Southern Ecuador Needs English Teacher

Centro Educativo Amauta, located on a private natural reserve in Ecuador’s southern cloud forest is in search of an English Teacher Volunteer.
Centro Educativo Amauta is a small, non-profit, private elementary school that values creativity, critical thought, personal and social responsibility and active learning in both its students and teachers.
Volunteer Profile:
• Loves children and has experience working with them
• Desire and ability to fuse art and English teaching
• Has bachelors degree or higher in any discipline, especially art, social science or language
• Has intermediate or higher level of Spanish speaking ability
• Experience and/or formal training in teaching English as a second or foreign language a plus
What Amauta offers:
• Room and board either on-campus or our central offices
• Monthly cost of living stipend
• Transportation to and from Amauta campus
