ESL Jobs World : We are looking for qualified teacher who care about students’ improvement.

** Location : 
ESL school is located in Ulsan, along the East Coast of Korea. It’s not in the center of Ulsan, but in a suburb near the sea. You can enjoy sea view and beach around here. Of course, school is not at the beach. This is a small downtown half surrounded by the sea.

If you see a map of Korea, we are on the east near the East Sea. We are on one hour away from Busan which is the second biggest city in Korea, and one hour away from Kyeong Ju which is the traditional Korean historic city along the east coast. We are between Busan and Kyeong Ju in Ulsan.

I’m sure that teachers like this area because the area has both aspects, a country which has beautiful nature, mountains, beaches(pebble and sand) 5 min away from school by bus and a city aspect which has convenient facilities for the residents, hospitals, fitness center(rock climbing wall, ice-skating, swimming, tennis) culture centers(movies, operas, musical, gallery) and etc..

This is a Foreigner’s Compound for foreigners who come to Korea for Hyeundae Companies. There is a Foreigner’s school too. Most of the foreigners around here are from European countries and America. This area is called “ Hyundae Kingdom” because there are many Hyundae companies, Hyundae Heavy Industrial Company which is the largest shipbuilding company in the world. Don’t worry there’s no air pollution at all. There Hyundae companies don’t make any air pollution and also there’s wind from the sea.

** Staffs:
There’re  one American, one British and 6 Korean English teachers here.
This school has been lucky with teachers and they have made very good reputation around here since 1997. Our top concern here for everyone is working in a good atmosphere. We try to understand different cultures. All teachers here are devoted and responsible. The students ’s smiling and progress are out big rewarding. We hope that you work with wonderful people who can keep this atmosphere.

** Age of students and working hours
Classes are taught between 2~8 pm or 3~9 pm for older children (8~16 years old) . There’s a maximum of 30 hours/week scheduled between those hours.

* Benefits
1) Round air fare with a year contract
2) One month additional severance bonus with one year contract
3) Salary : 2.1~2.8 million won 
The initial salary starts from 2.1 million, depending on your experience with children, and can escalate based on quarterly reviews.

4) Accomodation  ; fully furnished SINGLE studio walking distance to school (brand new, large scale studio by Korean standard, much nicer than most foreigners housing)
5) 10 paid vacations, 5 days in summer and 5 days in winter, plus Korean national holidays.
6) 50% of health insurance is paid by the school. (1.3% out of your salary)

** Teacher Requirement : 
- Friendly, professional attitude, must enjoy working with children
- Bachelor’s degree in any field, must have university diploma in hand
- Experience preferred, but not necessary
- Able to adapt to a new environment
- No criminal record
