JOB TITLE: Full-time Lecturer
EMPLOYMENT LEVEL: Non-Tenure Track
LOCATIONS: Hanbat National University in Daejeon, Korea
REQUIREMENTS and QUALIFICATIONS:
- Native English Speaker
- Bachelor's degree with more than 1 year of college-level teaching experience
(English, Linguistics, or TESOL majors preferred)
- Or Master’s degree in any discipline
MAIN DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teaching English classes for 21 hours per week
- Counseling students in regular office hours
SALARY and BENEFITS
- $22,000~$27,000 per year
- Overtime pay for teaching more than 21 hours per week
- Korean National Health Insurance (50% employer/ 50% employee)
- Shared office with individual PC and telephone
HOUSING
- An allowance of $280 a month
CONTRACT PERIOD
- One year, beginning March 01, 2013 through February 28, 2014
- Renewable upon evaluation
