***Procedures to Obtain the ARC in Taiwan,which can let you work legally***
Step 1. Health Check in Taiwan for the Work Permit needs 7 working days(TWD1200-1500)
Step 2. Work Permit from the Council of Labor Affairs(CLA) needs 7-10 working days(TWD500)
Step 3. Resident Visa from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs(MOFA) needs 7 working days(TWD3000/5100)
(Step 3 has been revised since April 1st 2008. The individual needs to do the Visa Run and apply for the Resident Visa with the work permit in the representitive office worldwide of Taiwan Embassy within 24 hours )
Step 4. Alien Resident Certificate(ARC) from the National Immigration Agency(NIA) needs 7 working days(TWD1000)
Exept for Health Check fee(step 1) paid by the indivudual,the application fees(step2-4)will be paid by the employer!
