Feb/March Positions at a Great and 100% Dependable School.

Daegu, Korea
Are you looking to continue teaching in Korea or to come for the first time? I have a position at a great school in Daegu to start in mid-February or early March. My school, LEL, has expanded and is looking for additional foreign teachers to add to their staff. Because these are the expansion schools all facilities are brand new. For those interested, I’ll have some pics and video of the school by next week.
The owner, Jason, speaks near fluent English and is very easy to communicate with. The students are more advanced than most other schools I’ve taught at in the past and they really enjoy coming to LEL. Their attitude makes classes great for everyone. In addition to myself, there are currently three other foreign teachers that are in their first, second, and forth year contracts. I can provide you with contact info for any of them if you’d like.
So if you are interested in coming to work in Daegu please e-mail me your resume with a photo and I’ll get back to you about a potential interview. And, of course, feel free to contact me with any questions. In case you’re not already familiar with Daegu or Korea, I’ve added some info and links about them below. I look forward to hearing form you. Good luck with your job hunt.

About Daegu: Daegu is a large city of about 2.5 million people. It is, however, fairly spread out. You don’t have the problems of overcrowding, congestion, and pollution that many large cities have. Daegu is surrounded by mountains and has many parks within the city too. There are many opportunities for those who like the outdoors. The foreigner crowd here has grown quite a bit over the years and is very active. There are writers groups, rock climbing clubs, sports teams, dinner and charity events, and the list goes on. There are also many Korean cultural activities, sights, and language and cooking classes in and near to Daegu. By the KTX (fast train) Seoul is 1hr 45min and Busan is under and hour. Both make for great weekend or holiday trips. And if you’re looking for a little taste of home, but not finding it at the local grocers, there is a Costco in town (an American wholesaler type store like Sam’s Club) which has a great selection of food, alcohol, and other home needs.
