Our School is located in Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province, three hours southeast of Beijing..A
beautiful seaside city renowned for its beaches and cleanliness. Not far away are the famous sightseeing locations of Beidaihe, Chinaís summer capital, Laolongtou, the starting-point of the Great Wall, and Shanhaiguan, the 'First Pass Under Heaven'. Qinhuangdao is fast becoming one of China's most dynamic cities, and will be a sister city to Beijing in hosting the 2008 Olympics.
Our school has recently expanded to a new campus and is therefore in need of two new instructors. The school has been open for five years and selected as the Model School each year since its inception in 2002. Helen Chen, the school owner, is TESOL certified and has studied extensively in Australia and Canada. Ao Jia is regarded as one of the top language schools in Qinhuangdao.
Reqired :
- Native speaker from United States, Canada, Australia, Britain, or New Zealand.
- A four-year degree from any well-recognized university.
- TESOL, CELTA, or TEFL certificate.
- One year experience teaching either ESL, or native speakers.
Work load:
The teaching hours per week are 24.
Our school works primarily with adults, but there are also some teenage classes on the weekend. In high seasons (July and August), overtime work will be available at the rate of 80 RMB per hour. You will not be required to work overtime.
We have an established curriculum set in place. Beginning students start with New Interchange Level 1 and follow that series all the way up to Passages Level 10. We also offer IELTS, TOEFL and SAT test preparation courses. Your preparation time will be greatly reduced the second time you teach a level, because the books, materials, and curriculum will be the same.

Salary is 5000-6000 RMB per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Bonus of 8000 RMB given at the end of each yearly contract
- 12 days paid vacation.
