English First is the largest and most recognized language training organization in the world with over 90 schools across 50 cities in China. We operate a successful school located in the center of Shenyang. Shenyang EF currently has 16 foreign teachers from the UK, America and Ireland. We have a very supportive Chinese staff and many of our teachers have remained at the school for multiple contracts.

A wide variety of Children’s and adult classes are offered, with many children’s classed taking place on the weekends. Teachers work a maximum of 20 classroom hours during non-parking times. (30 classroom hours during student’s holiday times, twice a year)

Our benefits:
Term of contract: 12 months
Working Day: 5 days per work (6 days on student’s holiday time, twice a year )
Salary: Starting salary: 6000RMB
Going up to 7000RMB at six months
The salary for more experienced teachers is negotiable.
Bonus: Upon successful completion of 12 month contract, the teacher will be eligible for an annual bonus of up to 12,000RMB dependent on successfully meeting the contract performance requirements (contract completion, continuing student attendance rate, no unacceptable complaints toward the teacher).
School trip: Twice a year.
Dinner parties on special days.
Accommodation: Offer full accommodation for teachers. (If you decide not to accept we will pay 1000RMB a month contribution towards alternative accommodation.
Holiday: 12 days public holiday and 10 days personal paid holiday per year.
Travel Bonus: Around trip airfare for 12 months contract.
Insurance: We pay Erika Travel Insurance for all teachers.

Shenyang is the largest city in northeast China, and has fantastic transport connections to the region, other parts of China and Asia. There are currently direct flights to Vietnam, Russia, Japan and Korea form Shenyang. Here are just a few places you could visit during your year here:

•Beijing 4 hrs by train.
Visit the Great Wall and Forbidden City.

•Dalian 4 hrs by train.
Dalian, northeast China’s premier beach resort.

•Mongolia 4 hrs by train.
Camp in Mongolia, wake up in the grasslands and ride camels in the desert on the same day.

•Dandong 3 hrs by train.
Visit Dandong and see North Korea. Take a boat trip along the DPRK border.

•Benxi 1 hr by train.
Visit the natural wonder of the water Caves.

•Harbin 5 hrs by train.
Go skiing in Winter and also see the world famous ice festival.

Shenyang is a truly Chinese city rich in history and culture which is all too rare in modern day China.
