The name originated from the Jurchen language. As of 2000, Changchun has a population of 7.1 million, including counties and county-level cities. The urban districts have a total population of 3.2 million.

Position Requirements:
- Native English Speaker from the US, UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand
- University Degree or Higher Preferred but not essential
